'Castle': First Glimpses of Season 5

The first episode will pick-up where last season's finale left off. This is unusual for the show because the characters normally take summer vacations that more or less equal the length of the hiatus. It's certainly a refreshing and welcome change considering what happened at the end of last season. Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) finally got together, a moment that had many fans on the edge of their seats. And unlike recent couplings such as Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) on 'Bones' and Jim (Matt Passmore) and Callie (Kiele Sanchez) on 'The Glades', we actually saw the beginning of the hook-up. The fact that we're going to see the morning after as well certainly puts 'Castle' strides ahead in terms of fan adoration.

Plus the 'Castle' Art Department has released some photos of Beckett's loft. Presumably now that she and Castle are a couple (we're assuming!) they'll be spending more time here.

Oh, and Tamala Jones (who plays Lanie) apparently decided to tweet that Stana Katic looks "so hot" this season. So, you know, that's good to know.

Castle's 5th Season will begin on Monday, September 24th at 10/9 C. The first promo with new footage will be released tonight (8/27/12).
